Daniel Champagne gig at Mumbulla Hall 17 June 2017

Tonight, Daniel Champagne graced the stage of Mumbulla School Hall in Bega on the far south coast of New South Wales.  Daniel wowed the audience with his percussive guitar technique, his heartfelt song writing, and put every bit of energy into his performance.
Daniel grew up in the Bega Valley, and attended Mumbulla School, and he was obviously touched by the enthusiastic and supportive home crowd who came out to see him.
Before Daniel's performance he lent his voice to Mumbulla School's year 5 choir, and the young students served tea and scones to raise money for UNHCR in the break.
Songs on Daniel's playlist included "The Coast of New South Wales", "Heart Shaped Tattoo" and "Super Nova" from the new Fault Lines album, "Same Enemy", "Gypsy Moon", and my personal favourite, "Nightingale".  Daniel threw in a few cover versions - "Spoonful", "Come As You Are", and "Vincent (Starry, starry night).  After the gig, Daniel was kind enough to chat with the audience, sign autographs and pose for photos.
Daniel was supported by another locally produced talent, Tim Winterflood.
It was a great show, enjoyed by all, and we can't wait for Daniel to return next year for another show.  I'm off to listen to my new CD - Fault Lines by Daniel Champagne.  I highly recommend you do the same.  It's fantastic!
